Today I created something new and different. MY friend and I went to Paint Yourself Silly to pick up the pieces we did last week and decided to try the glass fusing that they have. It was fun, and kinda hard. It was hard because I'm the kind of person that likes to create scenes. It is hard for me to just place shapes and make them look pretty. I want them to look like something. So it was hard for me to figure out what I was going to create. It was hard for my friend too, because she likes her things to be perfect, and it's kind of hard to cut and then break glass in straight lines. But it was fun and I'm sure I'll go again. They said that the piece could be ready in a few days or up to a couple of weeks, depending on how much glass they have to do, but I'll be posting a picture of it as soon as I get it.

Oh, and I ended up creating a flower on my base. I even bled for this thing. Yep, so I took the gloves off to glue down the pieces and as I was putting the last one down my finger slipped and I cut myself. Oh well, it will fit in nicely with all the papercuts I get at work.

And now for a little rant

On the way home I also suffered a little road rage. I mean, since when does a yield sign mean stop?!?!? I mean this guy could have easily merged into traffic 4 times since I got behind him. I actually had half a mind to merge while he was waiting but thought better of it because he probably would have run into me. Ok. done ranting about my road rage. (*muttering* stupid Nebraska driver...stupid... don't know how to merge with traffic...stupid)
